TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Week of February 11: Overnight Lane Closures on Northbound and Southbound I-25

February 8, 2019: Southeastern Colorado - Daytime Lane Closures on Woodmen Road

Colorado Springs – Next week there will be lane closures on the northbound and southbound I-25 Woodmen on-and off-ramps and single lane closures at Woodmen Road for the pouring of curb and gutter. In addition, there are double-lane closures at southbound and northbound I-25 for striping.

Overnight double-lane closure of northbound I-25 between Garden of the Gods and Woodmen Roads for striping.

  • 9 p.m. – 5 a.m., Monday night, Feb. 11

  • There may be only one through lane in this area. Use extreme caution.

 

Daytime lane closures on northbound and southbound I-25 Woodmen Road on- and off-ramps and single lane closures on Woodmen Road for curb and gutter replacement.

Daytime single lane closure on northbound I-25 Woodmen Road on- and off-ramps

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11

Daytime single lane closure on southbound I-25 Woodmen Road on- and off-ramps

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12

Daytime single left lane closures on eastbound and westbound Woodmen

  • 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13

 

Overnight double-lane closure of southbound  I-25 between Woodmen and Garden of the Gods Roads for striping.

  • 9 p.m. – 5 a.m., Thursday night, Feb. 14

  • There may be only one through lane in this area. Use extreme caution.

 

Construction schedules are subject to change based on weather/unforeseen circumstances. Speed reduction to 55 mph in construction zone during the duration of the project.

PROJECT INFORMATION: The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has initiated a bridge and driving surface preventative maintenance project on ten bare concrete bridges near the Interstate-25 Rockrimmon interchange that will improve safety and ride quality. This project is part of the ongoing CDOT Asset Management / Bridge Preventative Maintenance Program that began approximately ten years ago to extend the life of the state’s bridge structures to 75 years.
