Another Season of Bustang to Broncos

August 8, 2019 - Denver Metro Area, Colorado

Building on the recent announcements expanding Bustang service to Estes Park and selected ski resorts this winter, the Colorado Department of Transportation resumes Bustang to Broncos service on Monday, Aug. 19., for the San Francisco 49ers game at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.

“This is the fourth season of Bustang to Broncos and it’s been a big success, with full buses for all the regular season games and most of the pre-season games,” said CDOT’s Bustang Operations Manager Mike Timlin.  “The convenience of having a parking location close to the stadium and an arrival time about 90 minutes before kick-off gives fans a good amount of time to enjoy the pre-game events.”

The roundtrip fare is $30 per person.  All coaches are climate controlled, equipped with Wi-Fi, a restroom, USB and power outlets, comfortable seats, and wheelchair access.

“In addition, by providing an alternative transportation option for fans, it helps enhance safety by reducing the number of vehicles, and potentially impaired drivers, on the highways coming through Denver on game days,” added Timlin, “which melds well with our Whole System – Whole Safety initiative.”

The goal is to improve the safety of Colorado’s transportation network by reducing the rate and severity of crashes and improving the safety of all transportation modes. The program has one simple mission—to get everyone home safely.
