I-25 Improvements at Raton Pass Resume Sept. 19
Sept. 17, 2018 -
TRINIDAD—On Wednesday, Sept. 19, crews will resume work to improve sections of I-25 at Raton Pass. The project—contracted to APC Southern Construction as part of a $5.3 million contract to improve the interstate in the area—was extended to include removing and installing concrete pavement on northbound I-25 at Raton Pass (mile point 10.5), in Las Animas County.
Travel Impacts
- From Sept. 19 through Oct. 1, expect a 12-foot width restriction on northbound I-25 (at mile point 10.5).
- Concrete barrier will be in place. A speed-limit reduction to 45 mph could cause delays of up to 15 minutes.
- From Oct. 1 through Oct. 5, a lane closure will be in place at all times to allow concrete to cure.
Schedule
- Work hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Fridays
