Crews to Begin CO 151 Culvert Repairs on Sept. 10

SOUTHWEST COLORADO—Starting Monday, Sept. 10 and continuing through November, crews will install a new concrete box culvert on Colorado Highway 151 in Allison, 13 miles east of Ignacio (mile points 13 to 14).
Travel Impacts
- Through November, expect one-lane alternating traffic as crews remove the old double culverts, install the new concrete box culvert, and pave. A temporary traffic signal and flaggers will direct traffic.
- Motorists will drive on a temporary road adjacent to the work site.
- Local residents will maintain access to CO 151 via the temporary side road.
- Work hours: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays
Travelers are urged to:
- Obey speed reductions of 35 mph. Fines are doubled in the work zone.
- Obey the oversized restrictions of vehicles 12 feet or wider.
- Use caution. Please consider the safety of motorists and of the construction crews when traveling through the project construction zone.
