Expect Lane Shift Oct. 19 at Main Avenue and 17th Street in Durango

DURANGO—From 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, travelers on US Highway 550 in downtown Durango can expect a lane shift at the intersection of Main Avenue and 17th Street as crews improve signals.

Travel Impacts

• Both lanes of southbound traffic will be shifted toward the center lane of the highway.
• Southbound vehicles will not be allowed to turn left onto 17th Street.
• Northbound traffic lanes will not be impacted.

Please slow down in the work zone and be alert to oncoming traffic that has shifted toward the center lane.
