Delays, Lane Closures set for Oct. 9-12 on US 550 North of Durango
Oct. 4, 2018 - Motorists Urged to Slow Down & Move Over
SOUTHWEST COLORADO—From 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 through Friday, Oct. 12, travelers on US Highway 550 north of Durango can expect closures and delays as crews repair guardrail along an eight-mile stretch between Rockwood and Electra Lake. This is approximately 15 to 20 miles north of Durango (mile points 38-46).
Travel Impacts
- Expect shoulder and lane closures, lane shifts and brief delays.
- The speed limit will be reduced from 60 mph to 40 mph in the work zone.
- Slow down and be aware of workers and equipment on the roadway.
