12-Day Closure of CO 52 Near Wiggins Begins Oct. 8
Oct. 1, 2018 - Work to Improve Drainage System Under Road
MORGAN COUNTY—On Monday, Oct. 8, crews will begin replacing culvert pipes under Colorado Highway 52 near the town of Wiggins. The project team will also complete embankment work, asphalt paving and striping.
Work on this $427,000 project—extending from mile point (MP) 62.207 to MP 62.275—will be completed by December 2018. AB Underground of Fort Lupton will perform as the prime contractor.
Travel Impacts
- From Oct. 8-20, CO 52 will be closed throughout and near the work zone, with detours in place.
- Expect various lane closures in both directions and possible traffic delays.
- Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Expect a 12-foot-width restriction at all times throughout the project.
