Crews to Temporarily Shut off North Shields & US 287 Traffic Signal on Nov. 7

Nov. 1, 2018 - Last Signal Portion of Project to be Completed with CSP Traffic Support

LARIMER COUNTY—On Wednesday, Nov. 7, crews will turn off traffic signals at the intersection of US 287 and North Shields Street as they connect new ones for overhead traffic signals and pedestrian pedestals. This will complete the signal portion of work for this project.

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. the Colorado State Patrol will direct motorists through the intersection. Expect moderate delays.

No power outages to surrounding businesses or residents in the area are expected.

This is a Responsible Acceleration of Maintenance and Partnerships (RAMP)-funded project that allows CDOT to fund multi-year projects based on year of expenditure, rather than saving for the full amount of a project before construction begins.
