Night work begins on East Mulberry Street (CO 14) in Fort Collins after Memorial Day

May 24, 2018 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4

FORT COLLINS – Night work will begin Tuesday, May 29, on East Mulberry Street (Colorado Highway 14) between South Lemay Ave and Summit View Drive for pavement milling and paving operations.

Hours for night work will be 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. This work is anticipated to continue through mid-July.

Pavement milling, which removes a layer of roadway before the road is repaved, will be performed during this night to reduce impacts to traffic. Milling operations will be completed in phases throughout the summer.

Travelers can expect minor delays during nighttime milling operations, as alternating eastbound and westbound lanes on Mulberry will be closed. There will be no work performed on this project May 26-28 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
