Chipseal set to begin again on Eastbound CO 6 in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY - On Wednesday, June 6, at 6:30 a.m., the Colorado Department of Transportation and Simon Contractors will begin the second phase of the project at mile point 418.88 with paint removal and chipseal resurfacing on Colorado Highway 6. Work will start west of Fleming at mile point 418.88 and will continue for roughly 10.5 miles until mile point 429.33.

TRAVEL IMPACTS

Single lane closures will occur Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., or until dusk. During closures, pilot car operators will direct traffic. Traffic could be affected up to three miles at a time, resulting in 10-20 minute delays, so plan your travel time accordingly.

This work is expected to conclude June 15.
