March 26, 2018 -
ARAPAHOE COUNTY—Beginning in early April, crews will begin resurfacing and other roadway improvements on I-25 between C-470 and Belleview Avenue.
"This stretch of I-25 is heavily traveled on and is a major economical route," said Paul Jesaitis, transportation director for CDOT's Denver Metro region. "The project will consist of resurfacing the interstate to create a smoother commute for motorists, and will also promote the longevity and safety of this section of I-25."
This $11 million overlay project will also include bridge deck, expansion joint and median barrier repairs, and installation of new overhead signs approaching C-470. This project is expected to end in winter 2018.
