Bridge Repairs to Require Southbound I-25 Exit to US 50B Closure March 25

PUEBLO—The I-25 southbound on-ramp to US 50B (Exit 100A) will be closed from 8 p.m. Sunday, March 25 through 5 a.m. Monday, March 26 as crews repair the bridge at the Belmont Interchange.

Travel Impacts

  • Traffic will be detoured to the 13th Street interchange during the closure.
  • Speeds will be reduced to 45 mph through the work zone.

Project Info

This work is part of the $10 million, CO 96 (4th Street) improvement project, which includes intersection renovation, signal replacement, resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation. Work began in July 2017 and will improve surface quality, enhance safety and provide improved pedestrian crossings, including upgrading ramps to current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The project is scheduled to be complete by June 2018.

The CO 96 project is an active construction area. Access on the project site is restricted unless accompanied by a CDOT representative. Your safety is important to us, so please coordinate access requests in advance with the project team.
