Crews Start Bridge Repairs June 18 on US 50 at Agate Creek
SAGUACHE COUNTY—Starting Monday, June 18, CDOT will begin repairing a bridge on US Highway 50. Crews on this project will also install guardrail and pave along US 50, about 10 miles west of Monarch Pass.
The project site is at Agate Creek just east of the town of Sargents in Saguache County. Dietzler Construction was awarded the project for $1.2 million.
With a push for a mid-October completion, crews will kick off work by setting up the work site, mobilizing equipment, and clearing vegetation from the area. Travelers can expect work on US 50 from mile points 190 to 191.
