Crews Close Right Lane on Westbound I-70 Above Soda Creek for Bridge Repairs

JEFFERSON COUNTY—The right lane of westbound I-70 near mile point 249 will remain closed until critical repairs to the bridge over Soda Creek Road are complete.

On Monday, June 11, during planned work on the westbound I-70 bridge, crews discovered deterioration on the bridge that need to be addressed before the right lane can open to traffic.

Two lanes are open to traffic, except from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, when only one lane is available. Repairs to the right lane may last for the next several days. The schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change.
