US 160 & CO 84 Intersection Paving Extended Through July 13
ARCHULETA & MINERAL COUNTIES—Travelers on Friday, July 13 can expect lane closures and delays at US Highway 160 and Colorado Highway 84, east of Pagosa Springs, as crews continue paving.
Crews plan to finish paving the eastbound lanes by the end of the day, and will complete paving of the westbound lanes over a two- to three-day period next week.
For the next few weeks, crews will make progress resurfacing east on a 14.3-mile stretch of US 160 from CO 84 (mile point 144.29) to east of the Treasure Falls turnout (mile point 158.56). Crews will apply a 2.5-inch surface treatment to the rad—including a 1-inch leveling course of asphalt mix to address imperfections, followed by a 1.5-inch overlay of new asphalt.
