Expect Closures, Restrictions on CO 133 in Somerset July 6-7
July 5, 2018 - Work will require two-day width restriction and local detour
DELTA & GUNNISON COUNTIES—From 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7, travelers in the community of Somerset can expect single-lane, alternating traffic as crews move equipment as part of ongoing resurfacing on Colorado Highway 133.
Vehicles 9 feet and wider also will be restricted from travel on CO 133, from mile points 17 to 18.5. Semi-trailers and other large vehicles are encouraged to choose an alternate route or travel before or after work hours.
Other Travel Impacts
- Expect delays of 15 to 20 minutes, with traffic guided by flaggers and pilot cars.
- There will be a detour in place for local traffic, and flaggers will be at each intersection to guide residents through the work zone and detour.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph through the work zone.
