CO 60 East of CO 257 Reduced to one Lane Weekdays Through Aug. 4

July 13, 2018 -

MILLIKEN—From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays from July 16 through Aug. 4, travel on Colorado Highway 60 will be reduced to one lane east of Colorado Highway 257 as crews mill and pave the road. Work will begin at the CO 257 intersection and continue east for approximately 1,600 feet in both directions of CO 160.

Flaggers will direct alternating eastbound and westbound traffic. All lanes will be open at night and on weekends.

While CDOT had already completed work in the area, it did not mill and pave at that time because the work zone is in a low-lying area adjacent to water (aka, a flood plain). Next week's work was added to the list of tasks for this ongoing bridge-replacement project as Weld County issued a permit to mill and pave.

All work is weather-dependent, and schedule is subject to change.
