CDOT Hosting Telephone Town Hall on Southeast Colorado Transportation Issues

July 17, 2018 -

PUEBLO COUNTY—Starting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, CDOT will host a telephone town hall for residents of 14 counties in Southeast Colorado to discuss the area's transportation matters, and to provide a forum for people to ask questions.

An automated system will call a random set of residents in Baca, Bent, Crowley, Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, Park, Prowers, Pueblo and Teller counties. After answering the phone, callers will be automatically connected to the meeting. Anyone who does not receive a call but still wants to participate may dial 1-877-229-8493 (toll free), then enter PIN 112034.

CDOT also will offer a text-to-register feature through which those who want to join the call can text CDOTSE to 828282.

People who choose to join the conversation can listen in and express their thoughts to their transportation commissioner and key CDOT personnel on how the Department is addressing transportation needs, important projects, various initiatives and funding in CDOT's Southeast Colorado region.
