CDOT Crews to Repair Guardrail July 9-12 Along US 550, North of Durango
July 5, 2018 - Motorists urged to slow down and watch for workers
SOUTHWEST COLORADO—CDOT will be repairing guardrail on a 13-mile stretch of US Highway 550 north of Durango next week.
Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, July 9 through Thursday, July 12, from approximately the lower junction of La Plata County Road 250 to about the Purgatory ski area, (mile points 35 to 48).
Travel Impacts
- Motorists may encounter brief delays and should be prepared for stops, lane shifts or one-lane alternating traffic guided by flaggers.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph in the work zone, and will be strictly enforced.
- Please slow down, and be aware of workers and equipment on the roadway.
