TRAFFIC ALERT: Cortez City Crews Fix Water Main Break at US 160/Main & Harrison Intersection

January 15, 2017 - Southwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 5 - Repairs could take much of the week

CORTEZ/SW COLORADO ― Maintenance crews with the City of Cortez are conducting emergency repairs on a broken water pipe at the intersection of Main Street (US Highway 160) and Harrison Street. The fix could take much of the week to complete — Monday through Friday, January 15 – 19.

Southwest Colorado travelers in the area are urged to be aware of workers, machinery and heavy equipment at the location. Motorists should also be attentive to signage and flaggers directing traffic, which may include decreased speeds, lane shifts and brief closures.
