I-70 & Northern Pecos Street Interchange Closed Overnight Aug. 30

Aug. 28, 2018 - Final Sign Work Marks End of Interchange Improvement Project


DENVER—From 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, crews will close the northern Pecos Street roundabout at the Interstate 70 interchange to install signs to help drivers navigate the circle. There will be a signed detour route in place. Alternate routes are recommended.

This work will mark the end of a $484,00 project at the interchange that will improve traffic flow, visibility and safety, and provide modified fencing. Signage and roadway striping will also be improved as part of the project.

Travel Impacts

  • Normal work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays
  • Expect lane closures on the inside lane of the roundabout.
