Expect Various Lane Closures Aug. 10 on I-25 Between C-470 & Orchard Road

ARAPAHOE COUNTY—From 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10 to 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, crews will pave both directions of I-25 between C-470 and Orchard Road. Work will take place in the left lane and left shoulder.

Crews will also be moving temporary barriers to new locations. Motorists should expect various lane closures on I-25 and prepare for delays.

The team also will temporarily close the northbound I-25 on-ramp at Dry Creek Road. A detour rerouting traffic to the northbound I-25 on-ramp at Arapahoe Road will be posted near the project zone.

Since April 2018, crews have been repairing bridge decks and median barriers, as well as milling and paving I-25 between C-470 and Belleview Avenue. Work is expected to last through winter 2018.

Travel Impacts

  • Typical work hours are 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with weekend work occuring as needed.
  • Expect various lane closures in both directions of I-25 during work hours on this project.
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph during work hours.
