Crews Set Five-Night Closure of On- & Off-Ramps on Northbound I-25 D Street/Exit 98A

PUEBLO—From Sunday, April 29 through Thursday, May 3, CDOT will close the northbound I-25 D Street/Exit 98A on- and off-ramps overnight (10 p.m.- 6 a.m.). During these times, D Street from Santa Fe Avenue (US 50C) to Runyon Field will also be closed. These will only be nighttime closures.

Beginning Monday, April 23 through Friday, May 11 D Street will be down to one lane with flaggers present during daytime hours.

Detour Routes

• Northbound I-25 to Exit at D Street/Exit 98A: Traffic will be directed to the City Center Drive/Exit 98B.
• Northbound I-25 at D Street/Exit 98A: Traffic will be detoured north via Santa Fe Avenue (US 50C) to the City Center Drive I-25 northbound on-ramp.

Project Info

The I-25 Ilex Street to City Center Drive project is the first project of the New Pueblo Freeway: the reconstruction of I-25 between City Center Drive (1st Street) and Ilex Street through downtown Pueblo. Construction includes upgrading several bridges south of downtown. The project began in July 2015, and is scheduled to be complete by spring 2019.
