CDOT Starts Repair Work April 9 on Highways Throughout Southwest Colorado

SOUTHWEST COLORADO—On Monday, April 9, CDOT will begin repairing segments of US Highway 550, Colorado Highway 184 and Colorado Highway 141. Crews will place a heated crack sealant into cracks on each highway over the span of several weeks to improve and prolong the life of each roadway.

Travel Impacts
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Motorists may encounter alternating, one-lane traffic during the project with delays of up to 10 minutes. A pilot car will escort vehicles through the work zone.
Travelers are urged to:
- Follow work zone signage. Use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone.
- Follow directions from flaggers and pilot cars. There will be times when the highway will be down to one lane using a pilot car to guide motorist thru the work zone, be patient be safe.
