Expect Lane Closure on CO 60 in Milliken Monday Through Friday for Next Two Weeks

Expect delays of up to 20 minutes; work to be cleared Sept. 29


MILLIKEN—
From 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18 to Friday, Sept. 22, crews will reduce Colorado Highway 60B to one lane from Colorado Highway 257 to Alice Avenue. This same work will take place during the same hours from Monday, Sept. 25 to Friday, Sept. 29. Drivers can expect alternating traffic with flaggers.

Travel Impacts

Crews will be removing and replacing asphalt on the one-mile stretch of CO 60B. Motorists in Milliken can expect up to 20-minute delays. No crossing of northbound or southbound CO 60B will be allowed as crews pave. Only local access will be maintained.

Expect significant delays. Speed limits will be reduced in the active work zone.

Project Info

The $5.5 million project, which began in May 2017, involves work along CO 60 from US Highway 287 to Milliken. Crews will upgrade the road surface and repave sections of the highway. Additional work includes seeding, improvements of guardrails and curb ramps, and the replacement of irrigation pipe under CO 60.

The project is scheduled for completion by November 2017.
