CDOT to Begin Repairs on Eastbound CO 6, East of Sterling
LOGAN COUNTY—Starting at 6: 30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, crews will begin repairing and paving eastbound Colorado Highway 6 (CO 6). Work will begin just east of Sterling at mile point (MP) 418.88 (just west of county road 67), and will continue for nearly 11 miles to County Road 87 (MP 429.33).
Construction is expected to conclude Sept. 30.
Additionally, crews will replace the bridge rail and guardrail on the bridge just east of Fleming, Colo.
Travel Impacts
Expect lane closures from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or until dusk. During the majority of the project, four miles of roadway will be reduced to one lane and pilot car operators will direct traffic.
