Partial Closure on US 40 at Elk River Road Required Through Wednesday Night

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS—On Wednesday, Oct. 18, crews will partially close US 40 at Elk River Road as they pave.

Traffic impacts for the rest of this week include:

9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17 through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18
and from after the morning commute to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18: Partial Intersection Closure
US 40 will be partially closed at Elk River Road, from Shield Drive to Curve Court, with breaks for morning and evening peak travel.

Westbound US 40 (Lincoln Avenue) will be open onto northbound Elk River Road. This right westbound lane will not be opened up, however, until mid-morning to allow striping crews to finish work in the lane. For closed movements at the intersection, a detour will is in place utilizing Curve Court, Shield Drive and Downhill Drive.
