Overnight Paving Begins Tonight on Sheridan Boulevard between 52nd and 58th Avenues

Oct. 18, 2017

ADAMS COUNTY—
Overnight on Wednesday, Oct. 18 and Thursday, Oct. 19, crews will pave Sheridan Boulevard (Colorado Highway 95) between 52nd Avenue and 58th Avenue. Expect lane closures and temporary access restrictions from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. on northbound Sheridan Boulevard, and from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on southbound Sheridan Boulevard. Side-street and driveway traffic may be held for up to 15 minutes while paving equipment passes through intersections.

Crews are taking advantage of mild temperatures this week to pvae. If necessary, crews may continue paving during the day (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) this weekend to finish the work. Motorists are driving on a temporary milled surface until the new asphalt is placed.

Crews recently replaced concrete curb ramps and placed new sidewalk north of 52nd Avenue. The project team continues to repair the bridge over Clear Creek just north of Interstate 76.

All work is weather-dependent, and the schedule is subject to change. Visit the project website for the latest schedule and traffic impact information.
