Lane Closures Start Monday, Oct. 30 on I-70 Near Vail Pass Summit

EAGLE COUNTY—From 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30 through the morning of Friday, Nov. 3, drivers can expect lane closures and speed limit reductions on eastbound I-70 near the summit of Vail Pass as crews demolish and replace a bridge joint. Work will be completed at mile point 190.85.

Traffic Impacts

• A right lane closure will be in place for the first two days.
• Then, crews will close the left lane for the remainder of the project.
• The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph through the work zone for the duration of the project.

Crews aim to complete this safety improvement while weather allows before winter.
