Expect Overnight Closure of Pueblo Boulevard (CO 45) Dec. 10
PUEBLO—From 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 to 7 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, expect Colorado Highway 45 to be closed between 11th Street and Goodnight Avenue for bridge work as CDOT begins its final phase of work on the CO 45 (Pueblo Boulevard) project.
Project work on Pueblo Boulevard stretches between mile point (MP) 4.65, at Pueblo Boulevard and Thatcher Avenue, and MP 8.95, at Pueblo Boulevard and US 50. Expect various lane closures on CO 45, as necessary, to complete this final stage. The project is expected to be complete in winter 2017.

Use I-25 and US 50 as an alternate route during this closure. -
CO 45 single-lane closures: Expect various northbound and southbound lane closures throughout the remainder of the project.

On CO 45, speeds will be reduced to 45 mph for the duration of the project.
Project Info
The remaining work on the CDOT CO 45 project includes seeding and mulching, installation of signs on signal poles, installation of asphalt patches, bridge work, smooth pavement of concrete and asphalt, and final clean up.
There will be an 11-foot width restriction from MP 4.65 to MP 8.95 for the duration of the project. There are no weight restrictions.
Castle Rock Construction Company, of Centennial, CO, is the prime contractor on this $9.6 million project.
