Northbound I-25 On- and Off-Ramps at Ilex Street Reopen Friday, May 19
PUEBLO—On the afternoon of Friday, May 19, crews will reopen the northbound I-25 on- and off-ramps for Ilex Street/Exit 98A. Once these ramps are open, Ilex Street will be permanently closed.
While the on-ramp was initially scheduled to remain closed through mid-June, the project team has decided to postpone the ramp work until after Memorial Day to avoid potential impacts for the holiday weekend.
Traffic Impacts
Detours for Ilex Street Closure:
- Northbound I-25 traffic from Exit 98A: Access Santa Fe Avenue via the new D-Street extension. Motorists will also access northbound I-25, businesses and Runyon Field via the new D-Street Extension.
Slight traffic delays are expected, and motorists are urged to use extra caution while traveling in the new traffic pattern.
