Southbound I-25 traffic diverted at Crossroads Thursday night

March 29, 2017 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - Motorists will see delays beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday through 5 a.m. Friday

LARIMER COUNTY - On the evening of March 30, the Colorado Department of Transportation and contractor RL Wadsworth will conduct bridge repairs on southbound Interstate 25 at the Crossroads Boulevard exit.

The closure will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Southbound traffic will be diverted down the off-ramp and up the on-ramp to detour around the bridge repairs. Users of I-25 should plan for additional time to use the ramp system around the overnight closure.

“This is an overhaul of the temporary bridge with stronger materials,” says Project Engineer Jim Hoffman. “Our commitment to make these repairs overnight is intended to impact motorists as minimally as possible.”

EXPECTED TRAFFIC IMPACTS: Motorists should plan additional travel time to pass through the construction zone. Speed limits will be reduced in the construction zone for both the safety of the traveling public as well as construction crews in the area. Traffic on northbound I-25 will not be affected. Crossroads Boulevard will not have any closures, but delays can be expected near the interchange.
