Improvement Project Begins March 20 at US 160 and Rio Grande County Road 19
Travelers can expect delays.
RIO GRANDE COUNTY—On Monday, March 20, crews will begin a project to improve the US Highway (US) 160 and Rio Grande County Road (CR) 19 intersection. Work will take place near mile post (MP) 189 on US 160, approximately 2.5 miles east of South Fork.
This project involves widening a shoulder, a complete asphalt overlay, and adding striping and pavement markings throughout the project area. Construction will extend about a quarter mile in each direction from the US 160 and CR 19 intersection.
Travel and Access Impacts
Through May, travelers can expect intermittent 15-minute delays and single-lane, alternating traffic in the work zone from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
