I-25 Guardrail Project to Change Work Schedule to Monday through Thursday

March 27, 2017 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - Project completion scheduled for summer 2017

COLORADO SPRINGS – The Colorado Department of Transportation Region 2 Guardrail project is continuing work on Interstate 25 south of Fountain, with work no longer taking place on Fridays. Working hours will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

CDOT recognizes that traffic on Interstate 25 is heavier on Fridays, so work on that day has been eliminated to reduce wait times and the impact on drivers.

The speed limit is reduced to 55 MPH and vehicles wider than 12 feet will be restricted through the work zone. The project is on schedule and expects to finish in summer 2017.

Adarand Constructors is the prime contractor for this $1.2 million project.
