Closures on East 4th Street Start Monday and run through March
PUEBLO—Starting Monday, March 20, and continuing through the end of the month, the northbound lanes at East 4th Street and Bradford to the I-25 on-ramp will be closed from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.. Additionally, the southbound lanes of Bradford will be closed from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
During these closures, crews will be installing new traffic lights and crosswalk signs. Please note that all dates and times may be subject to change.
Detours
- Westbound 4th Street traffic will be routed at Albany to 5th street, to the northbound I-25 on-ramp.
- Eastbound 4th Street traffic will be routed at Chester south to City Center Drive.
About the Project
This work is part of the $10 million, Colorado 96 (4th Street) improvement project, which includes intersection improvements, signal replacement, resurfacing, and bridge rehabilitation. Work began in July and will improve surface quality, enhance safety, and provide improved pedestrian crossings—including upgrading ADA ramps to current standards. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2017.
