CDOT to Survey US 550 at Bondad Hill
The topographical survey will involve the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) which will require the occasional need to stop traffic. The survey is part of a study for this section of US 550 prone to rock falls.
TRAVEL IMPACTS: On Tuesday, March 21, the traveling public can expect up to 20 minute delays for crews to conduct survey work at Bondad Hill, US 550 (from mile points 4.2 to 5.9). Motorists will encounter these intermittent stops from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Travelers are also cautioned to observe the reduced speed limit of 40 MPH within the work area (from 60 MPH).
