US 40 in Steamboat to get a Fresh Coat of Paint Starting Tonight
Striping crews will perform night work to reduce traffic delays.
ROUTT COUNTY—Crews will be striping US Highway 40 in Steamboat Springs beginning around 8 tonight. The work, starting eastbound from Curve Court to just before the junction of Colorado Highway 131, is expected to last a couple of nights.
Crews will work until about 6 a.m. Thursday, June 15, and will re-stripe a seven-mile section of US 40.
Traffic Impacts
Minor delays may be expected. This is a mobile operation, so one lane of traffic will still be flowing.
