Traffic Reduced to One Lane Overnight June 14 and 15 on I-25 in Pueblo
PUEBLO—From 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night/morning of Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15, crews will reduce both directions of I-25 to one lane between 29th Street and the 13th Street exits as they complete bridge repairs.
This work, part of the Colorado Highway 96 (4th Street) Arkansas River to US 50B project, will be completed on the US Highway 50 (aka, Belmont Interchange) bridge. Other project-improvement work will include signal replacement, resurfacing and bridge rehabilitation.
Traffic Impacts
- The speed will be reduced to 45 mph within the work zone.
- Daytime speed limits will be 55 mph through the work zone.
- Drivers should expect delays in the area and are urged to slow to the reduced, posted speed limit.
Project Info
Work on this $10 million project started in July 2016, and will improve surface quality, enhance safety and provide improved pedestrian crossings—including upgrading ADA ramps to current standards. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2017.
