Santa Fe Avenue Traffic Shift Extended through June 13

PUEBLO—Crews are extending through June 13 a southbound lane shift on Santa Fe Avenue (aka, US Highway 50C) near the Locust Street intersection. This shift will reduce Santa Fe Avenue to a single lane in each direction beneath I-25 for 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Other Traffic Impacts

• Flaggers will be present from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Expect slight traffic delays.
• Speeds will be reduced to 25 mph.
• Please use extra caution while traveling in the new traffic pattern.

Project Info

The I-25 Ilex Street to City Center Drive project is the first project of the New Pueblo Freeway: the reconstruction of I-25 between City Center Drive (1st Street) and Ilex Street through downtown Pueblo. Construction includes upgrading several bridges south of downtown.

The project began in July 2015, and is expected to be completed in 2018.
