Crews to close CO 14 at US 85 in Ault June 16-19

June 15, 2017 - Northeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 4 - US 85 traffic will be unaffected

AULT – From 5 p.m. Friday, June 16, through 9 a.m. Monday, June 19, crews will close the east and west sides of the Colorado Highway 14/US 85 intersection as they remove and replace concrete to improve the roadway.

The closure will only affect traffic on CO14, and motorists impacted by the closure will be detoured around the intersection. Travelers on US 85 will not be impacted.

“We appreciate the patience of motorists during this closure,” says Project Engineer Anthony Anderson. “Once this phase is complete, we do not anticipate any more weekend closures until July.”

Other Traffic Impacts

  • A 10-foot width restriction is in place.

  • Speeds will be reduced to 25 mph in the active work zone.

  • Please plan additional travel time for the detour
