CDOT Replacing Signals at Night in El Paso and Teller Counties
EL PASO & TELLER COUNTIES—Beginning Thursday, June 29, travelers can expect one-lane traffic and minor delays as CDOT begins replacing signals at US 24 and Cave of the Winds. Similar work begins Friday, June 30, on Colorado Highway (CO) 21 and Milton E Proby Parkway.
CDOT also will begin to hang mast arms for new street signals.
Site-Specific Work
(7 a.m. - 7 p.m. at each location)
- Project work for the first site will be on US 24 at mile point (MP) 297.6.
- Work on the second site will be on CO 21 at MP 137.7.
Motorists should expect to see increased activity along CO 21 and US 24 near Cave of the Winds. The Colorado State Patrol will be on-site to increase safety for the contractors and the traveling public.
