Access to Santa Fe Avenue via Clark Street and D Street to Close February 13

February 6, 2016 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO —The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor Flatiron Constructors, Inc. will install a cul-de-sac at the intersection of Clark Street and D Street, and begin roadway work at the intersection of D Street and Santa Fe Avenue beginning 6 a.m. February 13.

Direct access to Santa Fe Avenue from Clark Street will be permanently closed. Direct access to Santa Fe Avenue from D Street will be closed until spring.

Motorists wishing to access Santa Fe Avenue from Clark Street or D Street will be detoured either north to Spring Street, or south to C Street.

PROJECT INFORMATION: The I-25 Ilex Street to City Center Drive project is the first project of the New Pueblo Freeway: the reconstruction of I-25 between City Center Drive (1st Street) and Ilex Street through downtown Pueblo. Construction includes upgrading a number of bridges south of downtown. The project began in July 2015, and is expected to be completed in 2018.
