Expect Traffic Impacts Dec. 18-22 North & South of Durango on US 550 and US 160

SOUTHWEST COLORADO—From 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Dec. 22, motorists can expect lane shifts, closures and brief traffic stops as crews complete work at two locations near Durango—one south of the city on US Highway 160 and another north of it on US Highway 550.

US 160 just south of Bodo Park to the Grandview/Three Springs area (mile points (MP) 86-89)
Work will include crack sealing of the highway.

US 550 north of Durango near the Glacier Club entrance (MP 39-40)
Crews will be cleaning rock and debris from behind the concrete barriers along the cliff on the west side of the highway.
Travel Impacts
- Motorists may encounter intermittent lane shifts, closures and brief traffic stops of 15 to 20 minutes.
- Please obey signage and speed reductions of through the work zones.
- Be aware of signage, flaggers, maintenance workers and heavy equipment on and along the highway.
