Crews Performing Emergency Bridge Repair Work on Eastbound I-70 at Denver West

LAKEWOOD—The left two lanes of eastbound Interstate 70 at Denver West are closed due to emergency bridge repair work.

CDOT maintenance crews are working to make concrete structural repairs after the bridge at Denver West was hit the night of Dec. 20. Work must be done today to prevent corrosion that could occur due to the colder temperatures.

CDOT hopes to finish repairs by rush hour tonight and asks motorists to please drive slow while passing maintenance crews. There are currently extensive delays in the area. Please visit www.cotrip.org, or call 5-1-1 for travel updates.
