US 160 Open Near Chimney Rock Between Durango/Bayfield and Pagosa Springs

SOUTHWEST COLORADO―US Highway 160 between Durango/Bayfield and Pagosa Springs is now open.

The highway was closed, with a detour in place, for approximately 14 hours—from 11:27 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 through 1:27 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 24. Law enforcement officials called for the closure to conduct an investigation in the area.
