Northbound I-25 Off-Ramp at Crossroads Boulevard to Close Overnight on Aug. 3
LARIMER COUNTY—From 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, crews will close the northbound I-25 off-ramp at Crossroads Boulevard (exit 259) as they prepare to shift traffic onto a new bridge.
Detour
Motorists will be detoured north to East County Road 32/Colorado Highway 392 (Exit 262). Turn left on East County Road 32 to access southbound I-25, which will lead back to the Crossroads Boulevard exit. This detour will add approximately six miles (six minutes) of travel.
Alternate route: Take US Highway 34 (Exit 257), two miles before the construction zone.
"This is an important step in preparing for the full switch of northbound I-25 traffic onto the newly constructed bridge," says CDOT Project Engineer Jim Hoffman. "We expect to make that switch within the month of August."
Traffic Impacts
Traffic on southbound I-25 will not be affected, and the Crossroads Boulevard interchange will remain open. Speed limits have been reduced.
