Night work on CO 82 Castle Creek Bridge begins tonight

August 23, 2017 - Northwestern Colorado/CDOT Region 3 - Crews will place traffic in a single-lane configuration

PITKIN COUNTY/ASPEN—Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) maintenance and specialty crews will perform repairs to the bridge expansion joint on Castle Creek Bridge overnight Wednesday August 23, and Thursday August 24. Motorists can expect intermittent traffic stops from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. During this period, traffic will be placed in a single-lane configuration.

TRAFFIC IMPACTS

Motorists are urged to slow down and pay attention. Delays are expected to be minimal and the speed limit will remain the same. This work is weather-dependent.
