C-470 Express Lanes Project Update Open House

April 24, 2017 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - DOUGLAS COUNTY – The Colorado Department of Transportation, along with its contractor Flatiron AECOM LLC, will be hosting the second C-470 Express Lanes Project Update Open House on Wednesday, April 26.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.at the Hilton Garden Inn Highlands Ranch Ballroom, located at 1050 Plaza Drive, Highlands Ranch, Colorado 80226.

Attendees can visit stations and learn more about various project topics, including trails, noise walls, design, schedule, traffic control and construction updates. CDOT representatives and project experts will be available to address public questions and concerns. 

More than 100,000 motorists currently use this segment of C-470 each day with volumes projected to increase 40 percent by 2035.Construction is projected to be complete in spring 2019.

About Express Lanes: Express Lanes increase roadway capacity and help to manage congestion on the highways. The use of toll pricing during peak travel times provides an option for travelers, reduces delays, manages congestion and maintains reliable travel times.
