CDOT Announces New Spanish Tool to Combat Impaired Driving

November 2, 2016 - Traffic Safety - STATEWIDE  — In an ongoing effort to reduce the number of alcohol-related  fatalities on the state’s roads, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) launched a new Spanish app for smart phones, called "R-U-Buzzed.”

Westbound I-76 off-ramp to 96th Avenue closed Sunday night

November 4, 2016 - Denver Metro Colorado/CDOT Region 1 - ADAMS COUNTY –On Sunday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m., crews will temporarily close the westbound Interstate 76 off-ramp to 96th Avenue (exit 11) to all traffic overnight to place temporary barrier and restripe the highway.

Traffic Shift Southbound Santa Fe Avenue (US 50 C) Begins November 14

November 8, 2016 - Southeastern Colorado/CDOT Region 2 - PUEBLO —The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and contractor Flatiron Constructors, Inc. are shifting southbound Santa Fe Avenue (US 50C) traffic onto the adjacent bridge for northbound Santa Fe Avenue over the Arkansas River beginning Monday, November 14, 2016.
