I-70: US 6 to Georgetown Resurfacing Project to Wrap Up for Winter

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY—On Monday, Oct. 17, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will completely suspend its resurfacing project on Interstate 70 from US 6 to Georgetown for the winter. The project will resume in spring 2017.

Due to the location of the project and dropping temperatures, paving operations have been shut down until spring, once warmer temperatures return.

I-70 will remain in its normal configuration during the winter with no lane closures anticipated between Oct.17 and spring 2017.

To receive information about this project please call the project hotline at 1-888-759-6197, option 6, or email the public information team at [email protected].
